Arcadia Festival Place - 42°17'37"N 85°34'55"W

The Arcadia Creek Festival Place is located in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo. It has become the place for nearly all of the festivals and special events that take place in Kalamazoo. The Arcadia stage, and pavilion represent permanent structures on the site along with a a children's play area and abundant planting surround each of the significant architectural components.

Designed by local architects O'Boyle Cowell Blalock & Associates and Eckert-Wordell, the Arcadia Creek Festival Place is host to more than fifteen events annually drawing around 150,000 visitors to downtown Kalamazoo.

Construction has subsided

Over the last several years construction at the primary junction of I-94 and US-131 has caused some degree of headache for our festival guests. We're happy to report that project is completed!

Getting here

From Chicago:

At exit #74, turn north onto U.S. 131, go 2.8 miles. At exit #36, turn east onto Stadium Drive. Follow Northbound Business US-131 (Stadium Drive) approximately 3.6 miles to the east until you reach the junction of Business US-131 and M-43 (W. Michigan Ave). Continue approximately .4 miles further on Michigan Avenue to the corner of Michigan Ave. and Rose St. (you will see the Radisson Hotel on the corner across from you). Turn left on Rose and go to the second street (Eleanor St) and turn right. Straight ahead is Arcadia Festival Place.

From Detroit:

At exit #81, follow BR-94 into downtown Kalamazoo (via Kings Highway & westbound M-43). After passing 2 closely spaced sets of RR tracks on Kalamazoo Ave, Arcadia Festival Place is in on left side (south) of the road.

From the south:

Take US-131 north to exit #36, turn east onto Stadium Drive.
